We have thought and felt deeply about the disgrace that there is poverty in our wealthy country (link to 29.13 of QF&P)
OxFAP is one way in which Oxford Quakers respond to individual poverty in Oxford.
Grants are given quickly, with no strings attached, through agencies who work face to face with people in need. Each case is considered on its merits.
We always make donations via an agency or organization working alongside the individual needing help, rather than to the individual directly . If you need assistance for someone, click here for OXFAP’s own website to make a request.
If you would like to donate to OXFAP, you may:
1.write a cheque or CAF (Charity Aid Foundation) cheque to Oxford Quaker Meeting, write “OXFAP” on the back and send to OXFAP Oxford Meeting House 43 St Giles, Oxford OX1 3LW
2. use the ‘donate’ button above to donate online via Bank transfer.

Other actions… We also campaign widely to raise the profile of issues of poverty in our society….schools, MPs press etc….
We welcome donations from all who appreciate the value of our work.
