Feb 2020… Tenders have gone out to builders and we are now waiting for them to be completed. We hope to be in a position to start building work later this year! Our fundraising continues.
Dec 2019…Our fundraising work continues and we are working closely with our architects to finalise plans. A huge thank you to the many, many people that have contributed money and ideas.
June 2019…Planning Permission Granted! We are delighted that we now have the go-ahead from Oxford City Council for the building and renovation project. Architects are developing technical drawings and final plans. These will go out to tender during the early autumn—hopefully for a start of building in April 2020.
February 2019…Digging for Treasure? Here’s our archaeological survey underway—no Quaker hoard found, so we still need help to raise a further £300,000 to reach our budget of £600,000. Follow our progress here or contact our Office for more information.
Over the last couple of years, we have been developing plans with architects at Miller Howard Workshop for a new Garden Room and Quaker Centre.
We need the support of our community, partner groups, and grant funders to realise our ambition for simple and beautiful facilities to last 100 years.
